Once the Investigation has concluded, and if there is a case to answer ACAS guidelines state that you should invite an employee to a disciplinary hearing. The aim of a disciplinary hearing is to ensure consistency and fairness across the business and encourage employees to improve their conduct or performance to an acceptable level. Dismissal

Notifying the employee of the decision

The employee’s right to appeal
